Our students build confidence, graduate with a set of in-dependent, in-demand industry specific skills, employment opportunities, and the confidence to pursue the next step in their job journey.

Skill shortages in the province of Ontario alone are estimated to cost the economy up to 24.3 billion GDP and 3.7 billion in potential annual tax revenue. If we continue to function the way that we are today, there will be 182,000 unfilled jobs by the end of this year alone.
​
We believe that the skills gap will only lessen when key players, educational institutions, businesses and the government work together to respond to the existing challenges in today’s economy. Local partners who contribute to the SkillED Hub programs help to lessen that gap.
